“Street photography, a genre of photography that records everyday life in a public place.”

One of my favorite aspects of street photography is that it allows you to directly capture all of these split second, simple, complex yet beautiful moments in life and time that we often overlook everyday. Moments that make you stop and think, wonder - wonder what the person was thinking or feeling. There’s something so raw, and so real about it, it’s natural and unforgiving. Street Photography allows you to capture people for who they are in the moment, for who we all are…human.

Sonder has been a big inspiration word for me, an that is, “the realization that each random passerby is living a life as vivid and complex as your own.” This idea absolutely fascinates me. The idea that everyone has a story. I’ve always loved people watching, and street photography has become an even more exciting way for me to do it, because now I can capture and tell these stories through my eyes, or…my lens.

Here’s a collection of moments in time that I’ve captured in a handful of cities that I’ve visited.
