PVDFEST 2022
The Mission.
PVDFEST is a celebration of culture and art, which takes place in the heart of Downtown Providence, Rhode Island. I was excited, because this was the first big event in our city where everyone could really come together as a community and celebrate the city since the pandemic. The city was alive, and I had an absolute blast trying to capture and document the comradery. I wasn’t hired by PVDFEST to document the event, but, I wanted to include this project as an example of event documentation.
Behind the Scenes Video of my Experience
I like to make behind the scenes videos of my street photography adventures, to invite the viewer in to see what I was seeing, and how I was feeling in the moment. I filmed everything with my GoPro on my chest and my iPhone, and edited the video in Adobe Premiere. This day was an absolute blast, and I hope this video shows just a little bit of that! I also want to give a shoutout and thank you to my friend David Lawlor of Run of the Mill, for providing me with the drone footage.
